Teaching via Acadeum

Andrews University participates in course sharing via the Acadeum platform. Within Acadeum we are part of two consortia: Consortium of Adventist Higher Education Online and The Council of Independent Colleges. Read more about how this partnership works here.

This page provides instruction and support for what is needed for offering your course within Acadeum. 

Meet Quality Standards: Acadeum requires teaching courses to meet quality standards. 

  1. Build your course complete with instructions and details before the semester starts.
  2. Meet the Andrews Requirements for Teaching Online.
  3. Pass a Faculty Quality Review with the SDE Quality Assurance Specialist, Lileen Coulloudon.
 

Submit Course in Acadeum: For best results for enrollment, the course(s) should be submitted (with a syllabus) to Janine Lim to submit to Acadeum at least 2 semesters before you offer them. You won’t get registrations that soon, but they need to be listed far in advance for the advertising to the other schools.
