Public Health—MPH Nutrition & Wellness

Public Health is research in action. The Science of Prevention. The Master of Public Health (MPH) will prepare highly competent public health professionals with the knowledge and training to prevent disease and restore health in local, national and global communities.

 

PROGRAM LENGTH

This 43 credit program can typically be completed by on-campus students within 18 months and by online students within 2-3 years *All students have up to 6 years to complete the program. Full time students (online and on-campus) should also complete the following courses as co-requisites:

  • Biology or Physiology or Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Two courses in nutrition.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

The Master of Public Health program is admitting new students. Prospective fall and spring semester students must complete the application and submit all the requirements before July 15 for fall semester, and December 6 for spring semester.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (Lower GPAs might still qualify depending on overall profile)
  • Two Recommendations from professionals such as advisors, major professors and employers.
  • Resume providing a complete overview of employment, research or special projects.
  • Statement of Purpose reflecting your philosophical perspective, personal, professional and academic goals, and reasons for seeking the graduate program.
  • TOEFL, IELTS or PTE (academic): Students whose language of education is not English must submit English proficiency test scores.
