Andrews University welcomes and encourages students who have completed their high-school education in a homeschool setting to apply for admission to degree programs.
In their 10th, 11th and 12th grade years (through age 19 by September 1), homeschool students who meet admission criteria can earn college credit taking Andrews University courses. A homeschooling family may elect to count the college credit towards high school completion requirements as well. Earning college and high school credit for the same course is known as dual credit.
Note: Qualifying standardized test scores are required with homeschool applications to take Andrews courses during high school years. We reference the Michigan Minimum Dual Enrollment Qualifying Scores in admission decisions.
