Position summary
AUPE needs a reliable, well-organized Office Manager to handle day-today operations with focus on customer service, efficiency and time management. The Office Manager will be responsible to process orders, organize student schedules, supervise student labor, maintain company website, participate in marketing and manage files.
Qualifications summary
Previous office experience, with bachelors degree preferred.
Experience in Public Relations and Marketing desireable.
Candidate should be resourceful, highly self-motivated with solid work ethic. Skilled at multi-tasking and maintaining a strong attention to detail. Employs professionalism and superior communications skills to meet customer and company needs.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Supervisory responsibilities
Supervision will be necessary for the 15 student employees who work during regularly scheduled hours. Supervision includes scheduling shifts, training new employees, guiding students toward their best work skills and practices to help them maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.

Must be comfortable interacting with students in a manager role. Responsibile for setting goals and deadlines, organizing workflow, ensuring that employees understand their duties, montoring employee productivity and providing feedback and coaching.
One of the goals of AUPE is to mentor our students so that their job accomplishes both our need to make quality products in a highly efficient and ON TIME manner AND to mentor them in a work setting so that they gain a better understanding of what will be expected of them after graduation.
Physical demands
Must give careful attention to workplace hazards, this is primarily in the form of chemicals and solder iron burns.
Work environment
The work environment is a quiet office. There are no extreme conditions except occasional moderate noise from machines in the assembly rooms, which the candidate may be exposed to to an hour per day. No lifting or exposure to chemicals will be required.
