Position summary

This graduate student will assist the Research Coordinator in reviewing research proposals, performing literature reviews, evaluating published research, and course design.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist the research coordinator with reviewing and proofing research proposals


• Make recommendations and provide appropriate feedback with regards to research writing.


• Perform literature searches


• Validate listed references and correct citation style.


• Import and export research articles in EndNote

• Research experience and/or successful completion of research course work preferred.

Technical competencies

• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Word, and PowerPoint


• Experience and/or willingness to learn EndNote, Excel, and SPSS

Interpersonal interactions

• Must be comfortable interaction with faculty, staff, and students.


• Good communication and writing skills
