Position summary
Performs functions to coordinate recruitment and admissions in CHHS through the supervision of the Admissions Associate and the Recrutiment and Marketing Coordinator; works with Graduate and Undergraduate Enrollment and CHHS departments to meet the overall recruiting and admissions goals of CHHS.

Duties and responsibilities
Coordinate operations of the recrutiment & admission processes in CHHS.
Counsel prospective students, applicants, and current sutdents on admissions processes, in CHHS, and Andrews University culture.
Track ongoing processing changes and update the execution of the admissions process.
Serve as the liaison between CHHS departments and graduate and undergraduate enrollment in order to ensure coordinated admission processes.
Communicate, using multiple sources,with departments and prospective students (recruits, applicants, accepts, enrollees).
Manage applications logistic from Centralized Application System (CAS), working with departments in CHHS.
Maintain active communications with department representatives to facilitate services for applicants, accepted and enrolled students.
Process applications from CAS and assigne student ID number t those who have been admitted.
Organize CHHS Health Career Fair.
Contribute to the planning and execution of the Strategic planning of CHHS.
Fulfill other duties and responsibilites as needed or as assigned by the Dean of CHHS.
Supervisory responsibilities
Directly supervise the Admissions Associate, Recruiting and Marketing Coordinator, and student workers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training the Admissions Assoicate, Recruiting and Marketing Coordinator, and student employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Effective communication (verbal and written) skills.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Technical competencies
Able to create and maintain multi-sheet spreadsheets.
Able to generate reports from databases.
Proficiency in Microsoft software platforms and become proficient in Banner, Recruit, IVue, and Centralized Application System (CAS) programs.

- Demonstrate excellent English oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in other languages beneficial.
