Position summary
The Student Chaplain – Graphic Design will play a key role in promoting the activities and initiatives of the Center for Faith Engagement (CFE) through creative visual communication. This student will work on a project-by-project basis, designing promotional materials that reflect the mission and values of CFE. This position offers an opportunity to develop professional design skills while supporting a community of faith, dialogue, and engagement.

- Create visually compelling promotional materials for CFE events, programs, and initiatives (posters, flyers, social media graphics, digital signage, etc.).
- Collaborate with CFE staff and student leaders to understand project goals and branding guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in design aesthetics aligned with CFE’s mission and university branding standards.
- Adapt designs for various platforms, including print, web, and social media.
- Manage project timelines and meet deadlines.
- Participate in occasional team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications
- Enrolled as a student at [University Name].
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant design software.
- Ability to translate ideas into engaging visual content.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Passion for faith engagement, community building, and inclusive design.
- NOTE: This individual must be available August 13, 2025 - August 16, 2025 for the required CFE Student Chaplain Retreat

- Graphic design software proficiency in Adobe suite and Canva

Must be comfortable interacting with students and chaplains about projects.
