Position summary

The Student Chaplain – Videographer will support the Center for Faith Engagement (CFE) by creating engaging video announcements and content for chapel services and other faith-based initiatives. This student will use their storytelling and videography skills to produce high-quality videos that inform, inspire, and connect the campus community to CFE’s mission and programs.

Duties and responsibilities

• Film, edit, and produce video announcements for chapel services and other CFE events.


• Create engaging video content for social media, website, and digital screens.


• Collaborate with CFE staff and student leaders to develop creative ways to share messages and event promotions.


• Ensure all videos align with CFE’s mission and university branding guidelines.


• Manage video project timelines and meet deadlines.


• Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.


• Attend occasional meetings and brainstorming sessions with the CFE team.

Qualifications

 

• Enrolled as a student at Andrew University


• Experience with video production, including filming, editing, and post-production.


• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.


• Strong storytelling skills and a creative approach to video content.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.


• Passion for faith engagement and creative communication.
