The Center for Faith Engagement (CFE) is seeking a student to assist the Chaplain of Belonging and Purpose. The successful candidate will work with other student chaplains as needed to promote faith dialogue, culture development, and discipleship initiatives for the department across the university campus.
CFE nurtures spiritual growth by providing pastoral care, resources, and ministries that support a diverse campus community. Through meaningful engagement and collaboration, CFE inspires transformation and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, guided by the Seventh-day Adventist faith and our mission-driven approach.
• Engage in Leadership Development: Participate in required training and weekly leadership development labs. This includes our annual leadership retreat each August and other professional growth opportunities as scheduled.
• Previews/Standout: Planning and execution of creative and meaningful worship experiences for high school students that visit the campus.
• Team Building: create a team of student volunteers to assist in programs or projects created to engage and grow the faith of students across the campus. An example of such programing would be United Prayer.
• Track and Follow Up on Action Items: Document key decisions and action items during meetings to ensure follow-through on initiatives.
