Thu, 27 Mar 2025 14:45:31 +0000 Keys to Revelation Prophecy Seminar http://www.andrews.edu/agenda/67049 "Keys to Revelation," a prophecy seminar on Daniel and Revelation begins at 7 p.m. on Friday evening, March 28, at the Eau Claire Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 6562 Naomi Road, Eau Claire, MI 49111. The speaker for the series is Tom Shepherd, PhD, DrPH, pastor of the Eau Claire church and senior research professor of New Testament at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. The meetings will run through Saturday, April 19. This interesting series answers such questions as: How do we interpret the book of Revelation? What is the next world superpower? If God is so good, why is the world so bad? What happens when you die, and what does the Bible say about hell? And much, much more. Special features include archeological presentations by Michael Orellana, PhD, and beautiful music. Those attending the first night will receive a free gift, and those who attend 12 of the 15 sessions will receive the gift of an Andrews Study Bible. The series is free and open to the public. His sermon is titled "A Tale of Two Men, Two Colonies and Two Kingdoms." Roger Williams and John Winthrop brought conflicting ideas to the American colonies—two different understandings of Christ's kingdom. Nearly four centuries later, we still enjoy the freedoms of what prevailed and face the threat of what did not. The church service begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by Sabbath School at 11 a.m. All are welcome. The Eau Claire church is located at 6562 Naomi Road in Eau Claire. This was the question for all the Israelites that lived in the days of Jesus and His ministry. Generally there were two responses: you either love Jesus and follow Him or reject Jesus and His message altogether. We live in the 21st century today. Nothing has changed. We are to answer the same important question: What do I do with Jesus? And again: We either invite Jesus into our lives and enjoy the fellowship with Him or simply ignore His call and presence.
