How to add an extra credit item to gradebook
1. Go to "Gradebook setup"
2. Make sure that the category where the quiz is enclosed in is set to "Natural" aggregation
3. Look for the item that you want to make extra credit and click on "Edit", then select "Edit settings"
4. Right above the "Save changes" button, click on "Show more..."
5. At the bottom of the screen, under "Parent category" check the "Weight adjusted" checkbox, enter the "Weight" that you want for this item to have, and check the "Extra credit" checkbox
6. Click the "Save changes" button
