Global Campus at Andrews

Global Campus extends access to Seventh-day Adventist education beyond campus, community and national boundaries. We support our faculty and students around the world by promoting best practices in distance education and international partnerships, and by creating a virtual community designed to nurture learning.

Global Campus provides leadership, faculty and student support, and professional resources in the following Andrews University services: international education, international partnerships, online education, compliance, credit for prior learning, and educational technology. 

Global Campus International Services

A variety of services and supports are included in the Global Campus services for international education:

  • Support and oversight of off campus programs, affiliates, extensions, international partnerships
  • International Student Services
  • International recruiting
  • MOU agreements with partner entities
  • Support for international faculty and students
  • Overseeing the processing of visas for international students
  • Advisor training for working with international students
  • Providing advocacy and support for international-related challenges and issues
  • Quality assurance for international education
 

Global Campus Online Services

A variety of services and supports are included in the Global Campus services for online delivery:

  • Advice and training on advising online students (for AU managed online degrees)
  • The Distance Learning and Technology Committee, with faculty representation from all departments offering online programs, serving as an advisory board for Global Campus
  • Advocacy for online students and faculty, and remote staff across campus
  • Advocacy for online friendly processes across campus
  • Management and promotion of consortial agreements
  • Exam proctoring support and training
  • Online program development and design, including degrees that will mix face to face and online delivery
  • Quality assurance for degrees, courses, and continuing education
