Follow the link below to login to your account with the Andreasen Center for Wellness.

If you do not have an account with the Andreasen Center for Wellness you will choose the option to create an account.

If you are a current Andrews University student, faculty, or staff, you will choose the university account option. Everyone else will want to choose the local account option to create a local account.

Once your account is opened, press on your name in the upper right corner of your screen.

In the drop down menu, click on manage account and go to household.

In household, you will see the option to add affiliates. You will need to add each child that you intend to enroll in a swim program as an affiliate.

Once you have added each child, you will choose which one you would like to register first, click on the drop down menu under your name in the right hand corner of the screen again and you will see the option to “act as (child’s name)” you will want to click on that for the child that you want to register and then go back to the class options and register your child for their class.

You will repeat this process until you have registered each of your children for their swim program.
Andrews University Pool is proud to be an authorized provider of the American Red Cross. This allows us to offer a wide spread of courses both for the community and for professionals.
Lifeguarding Certification
Our lifeguarding certification class will be taught as blended learning. The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Blended Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over.
Prerequesites for the First Day of Class
Bring your swimsuit and be prepared for the following:

Bring ID to verify your age (participants must be 15 years old by the last day of class)

Tread water for 2 minutes with no hands

Swim 4 laps (200yds) continuously on front with a breathing pattern

Complete the 10lb brick drill recovery within 1min & 40 sec
Certification Assessment will consist of passing 100% of the in-person skills content as well
as 80% on the written exam and passing the 2 exit assessments successfully. Additionally
the online portion of the class must be successfully completed.
Fall 2024 Dates
August 26 - December 5th
This class will meet every Monday from 3:30-6:30 from August 26 to December 5.
*Holiday Dates (the class will not meet during these dates)
- Monday 9/2 (Labor Day)
- Monday 10/14 (University Fall Break)
Course Price: $350
There is no membership discount for this course.
