My love of music is based entirely by the environment that surrounded me.  Twelve years of piano lessons, growing up in an ethnically diverse neighborhood, attending elementary and high schools that were 95% plus Caucasian, attending first an African-American then Anglo- and Spanish- churches, playing trumpet in elementary school and French horn in high school and college, singing in school and church choirs and Christian youth groups, and marrying a Cuban-American, have all shaped my eclectic taste in music.  Listed below is a small sampling of ssome of my favorite styles.   Click on each link to listen to a partial recording of the piece.
