DGME250WebDesign

About

DGME250WebDesign is an introductory course designed to teach students the basic building blocks of good WebDesign. We start with the basis of HTML and move into the more strict, standards compliant, XHMTL. Once the structure for the content is developed, we then start to turn our attention to implementing a design through CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and it's vital role in todays web standards compliant movement.

When learning the material, the course will be comprised of a number of in-class and out-of-class projects, as well as doing minor research on the web. When the class is completed, the student will have a good, basic, understanding of what comprises a well-formed, standards compliant site and well be ready to move onto intermediate coursework (web design II - DGME 350).
