Andrews Academy’s most recent Reformation tour began on April 20, 2017, and concluded on May 3. Nineteen Academy students signed up for Bible credit to participate in the tour. Prior to their departure, they studied the reformation movement and their leaders so that when they toured they could see and experience the information they had studied. In most locations, they had tour guides to inform them of the details of the site they were visiting.
A big thank you to Pastor Alvin Glassford for creating this educational tour, which provided memories that will last a lifetime, and more importantly, build their Christian faith as they walked the steps that the reformers walked. The group visited sites in Rome, Florence, and Turin, Italy; learned about the Waldensians and Huguenots; visited Collonges and Paris, France; and also visited sites in Geneva, Switzerland.
