University Forum - Ray Suarez

Ray Suarez, correspondent for PBS’s The NewsHour

Ray Suarez, an award-winning broadcast journalist and Washington-based senior correspondent for PBS’s The NewsHour, will speak for University Forum on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m., in the Howard Performing Arts Center.

Previously, Suarez was host of National Public Radio’s call-in news program Talk of the Nation. He began his career covering local, national and international stories for NBC-owned station WMAQ-TV in Chicago. Suarez has written several books, including, The Holy Vote, which examines the tightening relationship between religion and politics.
