New Degree Launch

Electronic Journalism

The Andrews University Department of Communication will be launching a new degree emphasis, Bachelor of Fine Arts in electronic journalism, on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 5 p.m. The formal launch will take place in the Whirlpool Room of Chan Shun Hall on the campus of Andrews University. Niels-Erik Andreasen, president of Andrews University, will speak. This event is open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
   
A Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is a collaborative effort between the Department of Art & Design, the Department of Communication and the Department of Digital Media & Photography. The focus of this new degree emphasis is to prepare students to develop story ideas, gather and produce news all while developing traits required for a professional journalist.
