Go to Vault, where you can sign up for worship choices at various campus locations from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. This week’s theme discusses success and wellness. Check out the following choice:

 

 

Be the Change: Volunteer
Debra Panozzo of the Volunteer Center of Southwest Michigan provides information on volunteering experiences and opportunities in the area. To review volunteering opportunities, visit www.volunteersswmi.org and link to 1-800 volunteer.org. The presentation meets in Nethery Hall, Room 208.

Drunk Driving and Michigan Laws
Campus Safety Chief Dale Hodges will discuss drunk driving and the laws in Michigan to fight this problem in Chan Shun Hall, Room 210. True stories will be shared about impaired drivers and their victims. There will also be a time for questions about alcohol use on campus and consequences that follow. 

 The Drunk Test
Dr. Harvey Burnett will discuss alcohol’s effects on the body in Nethery Hall, Room 212, including dangers and laws related to alcohol. Come ready to take the drunk test and experience simulated intoxicated conditions. 
 

Wise Use of the Internet: Credit Cards and Identity Theft
Kristine Williams-Hall from Chemical Bank will discuss wise use of the internet when using credit cards and how to avoid identity theft. SIFE sponsors this co-curricular choice in the Garber Auditorium of Chan Shun Hall.

 

Studying is More Than Reading
Carletta Witzel of Student Success will meet with students in Nethery Hall, Room 214, to discuss three popular study methods: SQ3R, Cornell Note-Taking, and Textbook Annotation.
 Speed Editing for Maximum GradesDr. Bruce Closser, director of the Writing Center, will teach participants in Nethery Hall, Room 205, how to quickly and effectively edit papers for common grammatical and mechanical errors.  Success Through Positive Thinking
Jessica Pagan presents ways of positive thinking that can help you accomplish great things as a student in Nethery Hall, Room 120.
