International Violin Competition

Andrews University International Violin Concert

The Department of Music is holding the Second International String Competition on Sunday, March 29, 2009. This will take place at the Howard Performing Arts Center at 2:00 p.m.  Finalists for the competition include Andrew Barnhart from New York, Sedric Benson from Berrien Springs, Elias Goldstein from Wisconsin, Isabel Ong from Berrien Springs, and Jiyoung Yun, from New York.

The prizes to be awarded are as follows: First prize-$1000.00; Second prize-$500.00; Third prize-$300.00; and Fourth prize-$200.00.

The competition is open to the public and admission is free. Please come and hear these talented young people perform.
