The Department of Agriculture offers a workshop on home vegetable gardening in Garber Auditorium.

The Department of Agriculture offers a 3-hour workshop on home vegetable gardening from 1:30-4:30 pm in Garber Auditorium, Chan Shun Hall. There are many topics of discussion included in the workshop: garden location, soil preparation, planting with both seeds and transplants, warm and cool crops, garden planning, growing vegetables in a container, raised beds, and composting. The fee for the workshop is $15 per person, and it includes handouts and a healthy snack during a break. There will also be door prizes, courtesy of Village Hardware.
