From 8:30-9:30 pm, people are switching off their lights to raise awareness about global warming.

From 8:30-9:30 pm, people around the world are choosing to switch off their lights, in an initiative to raise awareness about global warming. The target is 1 billion “votes” (against global warming), which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, 2009.
