Sinfonietta Spring Concert

The Andrews University Sinfonietta presents their spring concert this Saturday evening at 9:00 p.m. This is a free concert, with an offering collected.

There will be a pre concert talk at 8:45 p.m.

The Sinfonietta will perform the Overture from Carmen by Bizet, Sibelius’ Finlandia, Marche Slave by Tchaikovsky as well as two dances from Copland’s Rodeo: Saturday Night Waltz and Hoe-Down.

The concert will also feature soloist soprano Carey Pearson singing Mozart’s Come Scoglio and other numbers.

This is the Sinfonietta’s last concert before they depart on their tour to the Philippines and Hong Kong in May.
