Lawrence T. Geraty, president emeritus of La Sierra University, presents this month’s Adventist Forum at 3:30 pm in the Biology Amphitheater. The title of his seminar is "My Most Interesting Archaeological Discoveries Relating to the Bible." Geraty served as president and CEO of La Sierra University from 1993-2007. He was president of Atlantic Union College from 1985-1993 and archaeology professor for Andrews University from 1966-1985. Prior to that, he was a minister for the Southeastern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists from 1962-1966. He is the former president of the American Schools of Oriental Research and is a member of the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed him to the California Postsecondary Education Commission in 2007.
