Wind Symphony Holiday Concert

The first University ensemble performance of the holiday season will take place on Saturday, November 22, with the University Wind Symphony at 8 p.m. in the Howard Center. The concert, under the direction of Alan Mitchell, will feature “Christmas Festival” by Anderson, “I Wonder As I Wander” arranged by Clark, “A Christmas Fantasy” arranged by Custer and “Russian Christmas Music” by Reed, in addition to other selections. Special features include “The First Noel” arranged by Simmons and directed by graduate student director Sebastian Serrano, as well as “Away in A Manger” arranged by Wallace and directed by graduate student director Frances Serpa. The University’s brass ensemble will also perform “An English Carol Fantasy” arranged by Marchand.

General admission for the Wind Symphony concert is $5; students and seniors are $3.
