Free Wellness Screenings and Workshop in Niles

Community Health and Wellness at Lakeland Health will offer free screenings on Wednesday, June 17, from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Ferry Street Resource Center, 620 Ferry Street, Niles.
Screenings will include a free fasting cholesterol lipid panel, blood pressure, and body mass index (BMI). The cholesterol lipid panel consists of total cholesterol, HDL (“good” cholesterol), LDL (“bad” cholesterol), triglycerides, and blood sugar. A 12-hour fast (no food, only water) is required. Participants must be age 18 or older. Participants will receive their screening results at the event and have the opportunity to receive one-on-one health coaching.
