Features The Marisol Quartet, Gold Medal Winners!

Following the small business showcase, Mirasol Quartet performs in a free concert. Mirasol Quartet is the saxophone quartet that won the Gold Medal of the Senior Winds Division at the 2015 Fischoff Competition. The quartet members—James Barger (soprano sax), Andrew Reinhart (alto sax), Benjamin Still (tenor sax), and Ben Donnell (baritone sax)—are from Texas. Founded in 1987, the Fischoff Grand Prize is an esteemed award given at the largest chamber music competition in the world. As part of the prestigious honor of wining the competition, the Mirasol Quartet is touring America’s Midwest region, stopping at the Howard Performing Arts Center along the way.
