Auditions for Readers Theatre

Box Factory ~ Nurturing the Arts and Creativity

The Box Factory for the Arts, 1101 Broad St., St. Joseph, MI will hold open auditions for 6 male and 12 female actors for the Dec. 4 and 5 performances of six short plays by South Haven playwright Linda LaRocque. The auditions will be on Oct. 10 from 1 to 3 pm and Oct. 12 from 6 to 8 pm. A light schedule of rehearsals is anticipated between Oct. 24 and Dec.1 by director Phil Sturdevant. For those who have ever thought it might be fun to act on stage; but never had the time or courage, here's a chance to try out a new venture. The plays will be presented in Readers' Theatre format and no prior acting experience is necessary. Experienced actors are always welcome to

sharpen their skills or to take up the challenge of developing an original character in what may be a new format for them. For those wanting to preview the plays before the auditions, copies will be available in the Box Factory office.
