Alumni GALA Concert

The Andrews University Department of Music will present a Gala Concert in the Howard Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26.

The Wind Symphony, under the direction of Alan Mitchell, will perform "The Watch on the Rhine March" by von Blon, "All i Ask of You" from "\Phantom of the Opera by Webber, sung by Gary Cooper and "English Waltz" by Grainger. The Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Claudio Gonzalez, will feature Cristian Neacsu, Class of 2008, on violin performing "Concerto for Violin and Orchestra" by Mozart. The University Singers, under the direction of Stephen Zork, will perform "Let the River Run" by Simon, "Sing Joyfully" by Byrd, "Climbing to Zion," arranged and guest conducted by Eurydice V. Osterman, "Angel Band" arranged by Kirchner, and "Now is the Approach of Winter" by Morely.
