Good Grief Program at North Berrien Senior Center

(ST. JOSEPH) – Hospice at Home will present Good Grief, a free seven-week program for individuals dealing with grief. Sessions will take place on Mondays, from November 9 through December 21, at the North Berrien Senior Center, located at 6648 Ryno Road in Coloma. The program will cover topics such as how to cope with loss, guilt, and regret; why you feel the way you do; and finding a sense of peace.

Holiday Blues Program Offered in Southwest Michigan

(ST. JOSEPH) – Join Hospice at Home for Holiday Blues, an annual program that provides an opportunity for individuals, family, and friends to participate in meaningful sharing and gain renewed strength to walk through grief during the holiday season.  Sessions will be offered at the following dates and locations:

International Survivors of Suicide Day Event at Lory’s Place

(ST. JOSEPH) – Lory’s Place, a grief healing and education center of Hospice at Home, a Lakeland Health Affiliate, will host an International Survivors of Suicide Day event on Saturday, November 22, at 1:30 p.m. Lory’s Place is located at 445 Upton Drive, St. Joseph.

Each year, one million people die by suicide, leaving behind countless family members and friends to make sense of it. This conference is designed for survivors of suicide loss to come together for support and guidance. Attendees will hear from other survivors about how they cope, and experts will share information about suicide and grief.
