La Leche League Meeting

Community Announcements | Posted on March 1, 2016

Please note the change in time for these meetings!

La Leche League meetings will continue to meet the second Tuesday of each month at the St. Joseph Public Library (St. Joseph, MI) at 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.. If you are at a point in life of thinking about breastfeeding (because you are or want to be pregnant), or ARE breastfeeding, or are supporting someone who breastfeeds, please check out this group. Women have made connections here that go well beyond the one night a month.  Find answers to your breastfeeding questions or problems, and find like-minded moms with whom to discuss breastfeeding, diapers, slings, and all aspects of mothering. Also, they understand that moms, especially new ones, are still adjusting to how long it takes to get out of the house.  It's better to show up a few minutes after the start time, and receive support, than to not show up at all.  Babies, toddlers and older children are welcome, as long as they are tended to when they need it (we love kids!)  We also welcome the support people in your life (spouse, mother, friends), or anyone interested in the wonderful benefits of breastfeeding. If you have any questions, please contact Jackie Van Horn at berrienlaleche@att.net or call her cell at 269-487-6156.
