University Towers will once again host the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Systems classes. The program is a comprehensive, personal safety course for women focusing on awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance. The R.A.D. System offers realistic defense techniques and provides women with the knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance strategies, if and when necessary. These classes are an invaluable opportunity to learn skills that could save your life, and they’re free!
Here’s what you need to know:
WHO: Ladies only. Sorry guys!
WHEN: Wednesday nights from 5:30-9:30pm, on March 23, March 30 and April 6.
WHERE: University Towers Activity Center (basement)
HOW MUCH: IT’S TOTALLY FREE!
HOW TO SIGN UP: Email rachelkeele@andrews.edu with your name and contact info. There are only 20 spots, so don't wait!
*What If I Can’t Attend All 3 Sessions?: Although it's not required for you to attend all three classes, it is strongly recommended. Each night builds on the next, so if you miss the first two, do not bother coming to the 3rd night.
This class is very valuable, but it’s also a lot of fun (especially the 2nd and 3rd nights!). If you’re able to adjust your schedule to attend, I highly recommend it. Don’t miss out!
