Looking for some new maritime reading material? Shopping for a unique art print for your summer cottage? The Michigan Maritime Museum has you covered!

The Michigan Maritime Museum will be hosting a book sale at the historic site of the South Haven Lighthouse Keeper’s House.  For sale will be duplicate book titles from our library ranging on a variety of topics— anywhere from maritime history, ghost ships to boat maintenance. There is something for everybody!  Also at the sale there will be framed prints, posters and copies of fascinating historic photographs used in past exhibits.

This fundraiser will be held at the Lightkeeper’s House (91 Michigan Ave., South Haven), the location of the Marialyce Canonie Great Lakes Research Library on Friday April 1st and Saturday the 2nd from 10am-4pm. Enjoy the opportunity to view the inside of this historic house and its amazing location, and add to your personal library—all for a good cause! All of the proceeds will go towards maintaining the Museum’s Great Lakes Research Library.

There will be a Member’s Only Preview event for Museum members on the evening of Wednesday March 30th from 3pm- 7pm before the sale opens to the general public.  There has never been a better time or reason to become a Museum member. Sign up today or at the event and get an exclusive first look; along with many other member benefits! Help support the ongoing preservation efforts at the Michigan Maritime Museum by becoming a member today.
