ALL IN” Registration Initiative for Fall 2016

Incentives: 8 Undergraduate students will receive Amazon gift cards based on a random draw from those who have completed the process of housing, registration, and started their financial plan (refer to checklist below).

·       4 students will receive $50 gift cards

·       4 students will receive $25 gift cards

 

The registration process is simple: REGISTER FIRST THEN FINANCIALLY CLEAR

·       Course registration opened March 21

·       Financial clearance opens July 1. You will receive an actual statement of accounts including fees, based on the courses you are registered for at the time.

 

The following is a checklistof things that can be done now to ensure you are setup for Fall Semester 2016.

Housing:(main campus only)

ü  Reserve Rooms/Apartment

ü  Dormitory – Attend the Housing fair – Wednesday, April 13 from 3 -7 p.m. and Thursday, April 14 from 5 – 10 p.m.

 

Course Registration:

ü  Confirm Program (undergraduate only)

·       Is your major, minor listed correctly?

·       For changes see Student Success– NH 100 – 269-471-6096

ü  Meet with your Academic Advisor (undergraduate & graduate)

·       Register Online through “Registration Central

 

Financial Clearance:

ü  File FAFSA – FAFSA.ed.gov  (if using federal aid)

ü  Submit Financial Information Sheet (when applicable)

·       Available @FinVue

ü  Monitor your status in FinVue

ü  If you would like assistance, Financial Advisors will be available at the“Last Stop” Finance Fair April 13th – 14th held in the Office of Student Financial Services.

ü  Financially clear by August 15

 

Dates to remember for Fall Semester 2016:

ü  July 1 – Registration Central opens for fall financial clearance

·       Fall semester statements available

ü  August 16 – Cancellation of unconfirmed course reservations (not financially cleared)

·       40% of out-of-pocket expense for fall semester

·       Prior balance paid in full

·       If you are financially dropped, you will need to reregister before financially clearing

ü  August 31 – Last day to drop/add without a fee (drop/add date)

·       Cancellation of unconfirmed course reservations (not financially cleared)
