Cardboard Community Awareness Event Saturday

For those participating in the campout on Saturday, April 2, to raise awareness for teen homelessness, below are the details you need to know! If you'd like to sign up, do so in the Student Life office in the Campus Center.

Saturday, April 2

7 p.m. Join your friends on the lawn area between Buller/Nethery Halls and the Student Center and build your own cardboard shelter for the night. While cardboard and tape will be provided, you must provide your own bedding, pillow and ground covering that would be appropriate to the climate needs on that night. (See the weather forecast)

7:30 p.m. Soup and bread supper

8 p.m. Movie "Homestretch" on homelessness, followed by panel discussion 

10 p.m. Privilege Walk activity

11:30 p.m. Cardboard Community hangout time

1 a.m. Lights out

Sunday, April 3

7 a.m. Breakfast

8 a.m. Sleepout grounds cleanup (All participants are expected to leave their area cleaner than when they arrived!)
