Wind Symphony Holiday Concert

On Saturday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m., the Andrews University Wind Symphony, under the direction of Alan Mitchell, will present a holiday concert in the Howard Performing Arts Center.
The first half of the concert will feature “The Red Shield March” by Goffin, “Divertimento for Flute” by Reed, performed by Christina Gibson, and “Legacies” by Needham.
The holiday portion of the concert will feature the Wind Symphony performing “Minor Alterations No. 2” by Lovrien, “We Wish You a Mambo Christmas” arranged by Morales, and “A Halama Christmas” for Chamber Winds by Kallman. The Andrews Jazz Ensemble will also perform arrangements of “Feliz Navidad,” “The Christmas Waltz,” and “Christmas Time is Here.” The program will end with “Christmas Sing-A-Long” by Ployhar.
