AU Wind Symphony Winter Concert

The Andrews University Wind Symphony, under the direction of Alan Mitchell, in partnership with the Southwestern Michigan College Brass Band under the direction of Jonathan Korzun, will present their Winter Concert on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 8 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of Andrews University.
The first half of the concert will feature the Southwest Michigan College Brass Band. They will perform “Fanfare from La Peri” by Dukas; “Holyrood” by Alford; “In Perfect Peace” by Downie; “Ride” by Hazo and “Zorba’s Dance” from “Zorba the Greek” by Theodorakis.
During their half of the concert the Andrews University Wind Symphony will perform “Old Wine in New Bottles” by Jacob; “Tintin: Prisoners of the Sun” by Brosse; “Deux Mouvements” by Waignen, featuring guest alto saxophone soloist Phil Barham; “Shadow Waltzes” by Balmages and “Urban Flight” by Morales.
General admission is $6.00, students and senior admission are $4.00 and children under 12 are free.
