TUCK LANGLAND: FROM THE ARTIST'S STUDIO
The prolific American figurative sculptor Tuck Langland has sculpture in private collections, museums and public plazas across the nation and throughout Europe. He has taught extensively in universities, traveled the world and published seminal books on sculptural techniques, including From Clay to Bronze: A Studio Guide to Figurative Sculpture (1999). Langland is also a founding member of Fire Arts, Inc. in South Bend, Indiana. Pulling content from his intimate studio in Granger, Indiana, enjoy Langland's sculpture, both large and small, illustrating his artistic evolution, interests and practice.

MUSEUM MIXTAP BY JUAN OBANDO
A Krasl Art Center Top Pick from ArtPrize 8!
Museum Mixtape is a video-album in which up-and-coming rappers perform improvised freestyle rhymes as live critiques of museums in the United States. It creates a playful connection between hip-hop narratives and institutional art spaces, reflecting on the intersections of institutional community engagement and emerging subcultural forms.

Celebrate the opening of Tuck Langland: From the Artist's Studio in the KAC galleries. This event corresponds with the annual Luminary Festival in St. Joseph and promises to have special lights of its own! Enjoy a creative, unique and elegant night on the town.

ARTIST TALK WITH TUCK LANGLAND
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18
6 PM IN THE KAC LIBRARY
While the party gets started in the galleries, join artist Tuck Langland in the KAC library for an intimate introduction to the exhibition. Learn about his global experiences and influences, and how they have visually manifested in his bronze sculptures and cast and carved artworks.

Learn about figurative sculpture, bronze casting and the fascinating life and career of artist Tuck Langland in this intimate tour with KAC Curator Tami Miller. Use this opportunity to study the works on view in-depth, share your observations and ask questions.




KRASL ART CENTER
The Krasl Art Center is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. The Krasl Art Center is located in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan overlooking Lake Michigan. The KAC has three public galleries, five studios, a library/lecture room, a black and white wet darkroom, a gift shop, and a permanent collection of 42 works of sculpture. Through its mission to bring people and art together, the KAC offers thoughtful exhibitions, engaging classes and camps, community events such as Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff and the Artisan Market, outreach opportunities, and cultural exploration. The Krasl Art Center is funded in part by the Michigan Council for the Arts & Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
