Memorial service for Luz Ruiz-Tenorio, January 14

Luz Ruiz-Tenorio, long-time administrative assistant for the School of Architecture & Interior Design, quietly passed away this Christmas morning at 1:52 a.m. just after her sister Willyta Wamack (former coordinator of Guest & Convention Services) recited the 23rd Psalm to her in Spanish. She fought a good fight but knew the cancer was winning, temporarily! She was content in knowing that she would soon be reunited with her family that has passed before her, on the resurrection day. A day all who believe should be looking forward to with hopeful anticipation.

Her memorial service will be held at Pioneer Memorial Church on Sabbath, Jan. 14, at 3 p.m. You may leave a comment for the family here. Please remember them and all the students, staff and faculty who grieve her loss in your prayers in the difficult days ahead.
