Interview with Photo grad in Strant Magazine
Adriana Monsalve uses her photography to explore race, gender, & identity
Check out this article about a photography graduate of ours, Adriana Monsalve. She is just one of many of our graduates that has found rewarding work in the exciting world of photography. Even in her undergraduate work she gravitated towards the documentary genre, focusing her lens on those that many would consider outsiders or ‘Other’. After graduation her work has continued to shed light on subjects and segments of the population that are often marginalized or misunderstood. It is through her photography that we can begin to understand her experience and how she sees the world. We are proud to call her an alumnus of the Andrews University BFA program.
