Community Astronomy Lab Offered
Special rates and course credits available
Andrews University’s Department of Physics invites the community to join them for Observational Astronomy Lab (PHYS 117), open to non-students for the first time ever.
Attendees will learn how to navigate their way around the night sky, increase their nighttime sky observation skills and the use of binoculars and telescopes, including the telescope at the University’s brand new Kingman Observatory.
PHYS 117 takes place on Wednesdays starting January 11, and continues weekly through May 3. The lab takes place on the Andrews University campus from 7:30-10 p.m.
Special rates for community members only are $299 for zero credits and $599 for one credit. For information on how to register, visit the guest student registration page.
