Business Professor Publishes Ebook

The School of Business Administration is pleased to report that the 2nd edition (2017) of Ben Maguad's e-book, “Managing for Quality in Higher Education: A Systems Perspective,” has just been published. Maguad is professor of management in the SBA.

The e-book is co-authored by Robert M. Krone, professor emeritus of systems management at the University of Southern California. In addition to being the lead author, Maguad also served as liaison between the publisher and the authors. The new edition includes an online testing which will be made available by the publisher. This is based on the 105-question, multiple-choice test bank that he developed (based on the 12 chapters of the e-book) and submitted to the publisher in July 2017.

"My co-author and I are humbled by the level of interest generated by the e-book around the world," says Maguad.

From September 2012 to June 2017, the 1st edition of the e-book has been downloaded nearly 250,000 times. Because of the high level of interest generated, the publisher has given the authors permission to revise the e-book that includes a multiple-choice test bank as well.
