Andrews Wind Symphony: Christmas Around the World

Christmas starts early this year as the Andrews University Wind Symphony presents “Christmas Around the World” on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 8 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center. Holiday music from around the world will be featured, including Russia ("Russian Christmas Music"), Spain ("Spanish Dance"), Canada ("C’est Noel"), England ("Whisper to Their Souls"), the Applachian region of the United States ("Jesus, Jesus, Rest Your Head"), Israel ("Dreidel Dance"), and medieval Europe ("A Medieval Christmas"). The AU Woodwind Quintet and AU Chamber Winds will also be featured, along with several graduate conductors. Come kick off the holidays with us!

Wind Symphony

The Andrews University Wind Symphony maintains a significant travel schedule throughout the Great Lakes area and seeks to provide high quality music programs and concerts representative of Adventist education and Andrews University. The Wind Symphony has performed in England, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and throughout the United States.
