Jian Lin, "Give God Glory"

Revive welcomes Jian Lin who will be speaking on the theme of "Give God Glory." Revelation 14:6–7 First Angel’s message was preached by William Miller in the early 1840s. Today, we still need to preach this everlasting gospel to the world. For understanding “Give Glory to Him,” we will look at some exegesis for the whole text of the First Angel’s Message in the first part of the sermon. The message is emphasizing worship the Creator only and keep the Sabbath, and this is part of the center of the Three Angels' Message. In the second part, I am going to give some background of falling short of the glory of God and the reason we have to give glory to Him based on the book of Revelation. The last part, we have to answer. How to restore the glory or the character in our life? Above all, we need to remember it will not be our own character that we have to develop ourselves. But it is Christ’s character that HE will build inside of us. Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6)
