Rescheduled: Retirement Party for Mildred McGrath

Mildred S. McGrath is retiring after 21 years of service at Andrews University. Mildred joined the James White Library staff on April 1, 1997, as a circulation assistant and later as head of Patron Services. She’s retiring as manager of Patron Services. Prior to joining the library, Mildred worked for Adventist Information Ministry (AIM) in different capacities: follow-up secretary from 1987–1989, shift supervisor from 1989–1994, and assistant operations manager, 1994–1997. Her total length of service for the church is 31 years. Staff and student assistants at Patron Services will greatly miss Mildred. She’s always the person to go to for information about policies, procedures and history of the department. Dean Lawrence W. Onsager fondly refers to her as “The Face of the Library.”
