AA: Service Day

Our AA Community Service Day is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019. As part of Andrews Academy's educational program, we participate in service to others. As a school we feel that it is important for students to learn to serve our community. We devote a day to practicing this concept with the students, as well as having various smaller projects throughout the year.

Please plan to arrive for devotions at 8:30 a.m. Bring a sack lunch! Activities for the day include yardwork, picking up trash, cleaning windows, etc. A reminder to wear closed toe shoes and long pants (no shorts!) for protection as you work. Please bring work gloves. You do not need to wear your AA uniform; however, if you have an AA t-shirt, please represent our school. Our dismissal time will be by 3:15 p.m.; however some groups come back early due to transportation, so dismissal will be between 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. as groups return.
