Sharon Aka

Portfolio Presentation

On Wednesday, November 13, Sharon Aka presented her Leadership portfolio to her review committee: Jay Brand, Chair; Randy Siebold, Second Reader, and Erich Baumgartner, Third Reader.  Sharon chose ‘Currency Exchange’ as the organizing metaphor or theme for her portfolio based on her family’s extensive experience traveling internationally and moving back and forth between Canada and the United States. Sharon has contributed to many diverse projects as an educator, leader, student and nurse here at Andrews University, at the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, and elsewhere. These influential activities include ALC, the Adventist Learning Community.  Currently finalizing data collection for her dissertation, Sharon plans to graduate sometime in 2020; she would be an ideal resource for anyone struggling to finish his/her Leadership program. Congratulations Sharon.
