    Zoom Webinar

Join us for the next Andrews webinar, "Research Set Sail: Tales of Experience" presented virtually by Nina Woodard (BS Biology, Class of 2020), as she discusses her research on Florida manatees and the experiences that led her to this point.

“My name is Nina Woodard. I am a student at Andrews University, wrapping up my senior year of undergraduate studies in biology. My research at Andrews University consists of studying Florida manatees’ teeth in order to determine if they are wearing down their teeth at a faster rate than the other manatee populations. Over the course of my undergraduate career at Andrews, I have received the chance to study at our affiliate school in Washington State, participate in an REU experience in Maryland, and take marine science courses at Duke University. My experiences were opportunities that helped advance my research skills. Without the research background that I earned at Andrews, I would not be the researcher that I am today. In fall 2020 I will be attending graduate school at East Carolina University to pursue my career goals of carrying out research and making meaningful contributions to environmental sustainability and restoration.”
