Comprehensive Hearing Evaluations

Concerns about your hearing? Come get an evaluation!

The AU Speech & Hearing Clinic is now offering comprehensive hearing evaluations at the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders. These appointments are open for all ages, those on campus, and all community as well. If you have concerns regarding your hearing or are willing to give an hour of your time so that our students can practice their testing skills, please contact our department to schedule your screening at 269-471-3468 or email speech@andrews.edu. A licensed audiologist will supervise all testing.

Beginning September 28, these are the times available for fall 2020:

• Mondays at 2:30 p.m.
• Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
• Wednesdays at 12:45 p.m. and 2 p.m.

At this time there is no charge for the hearing evaluation, however a donation of $25 is encouraged.

The AU Speech & Hearing Clinic follows COVID-19 prevention standards as required by Michigan state law. Clients and clinicians are advised to closely monitor for COVID-19 symptoms or elevated body temperature and to stay home if anything is abnormal. Clients’ temperatures will also be taken on arrival at the Clinic. While inside the Clinic, clients and clinicians are required to wear a mask, and social distancing is maintained. The audiological boothes are wiped down between sessions with a CDC-approved cleaner graded to kill COVID-19.
