President Luxton Honored by Burman University

At their virtual homecoming on June 4, 2021, Burman University announced Andrea Luxton, president of Andrews University, as recipient of the “Honorary Alumnus of the Year Award 2021.” Luxton served at Canadian University College, now Burman University, as vice president of academic administration from 2001–2003 and returned as president from 2006–2010.

The award was given in recognition of Luxton’s distinguished professional achievement, campus and community leadership and demonstrated support of Christian education.
